Welcome to the first episode of the Aotearoa Independent Film Podcast.
In this inaugural episode, I sat down the the director of Day One, Anna Duckworth, to discuss a broad range of topics; from the importance of finding like-minded collaborators, the journey to discover your unique voice as a filmmaker as well as some tips on how to define your vision for a specific script and how to hold on to that vision in when you can end up with so many different voices collaborating on a project.
You can find out more about Anna’s amazing work wtih Day One on their official website dofilm.co.nz.
I would also like to extend a huge thank to Day One for very kindly stepping in with production support for the Aotearoa Independent film Podcast.
I wouldn’t have been to able to do this Podcast without their help!
